After a walk through Vietri's old town center, with its many ceramic shops, you go down its small alleys to the small boat harbor, before heading up towards Raito with its fantastic views over the coast. You then continue uphill to yet another charming little village – Albori. From here the path takes you inland towards the valley Cava dei Tirreni. Breakfast

Today you can either hike or take the bus to the charming historic village of Ravello which is another highlight on the Amalfi Coast. If you choose to walk, which we strongly recommend, take a very scenic first tour to the beautiful, small village of Atrani which is probably the best preserved village on the Amalfi Coast. Here you will find narrow, small streets and a beautiful, peaceful village center. Then follow Valle del Dragone until you reach exclusive Ravello where you can enjoy dramatic views over Amalfi and Atrani. When you feel ready you hike back to Amalfi via Atrani and through vineyards and lemon groves. You can choose a longer walk through Scala, Minuta and Pontone and visit Torre dello Ziro, a medieval watchtower.

From Amalfi you take the bus to Scala, from here you first go to the village of Minuta from where you have a fantastic view over Amalfi, Ravello and Atrani. You then climb up a staircase and step into the nature reserve "Valle delle Ferriere". You walk along comfortable hiking trails under the high cliffs and even pass some waterfalls. Despite the proximity to Amalfi, the landscape seems to belong to another world. After crossing the main stream, the path gradually goes down through the forest towards the small village of Pogerola, which dominates the Amalfi valley from the west. From here a beautiful medieval mule track winds down to Amalfi, among lemon groves and maquis, with fine views over the valley.
