Your journey begins in the small village of Buggerru, a town founded in 1864 as a mining settlement. After checking in at the hotel, you can take time to visit the small town, relax at the beach or visit the "Henry Tunnel" an old mining site, a labyrinth carved into the cliff that opens to outstanding views over the sea and the rocky coast.

Today awaits a very pleasant coastal hike. From Buggerru you begin climbing along a secondary asphalt road with views over the fantastic coast and the long beach Portixeddu. After 5 km of gradual ascent begins a descent into the ravine towards the sand dunes and artificial pine forest. Along the last part you will walk through some military fortifications from World War II. After an exquisite lunch in Portixeddu you can take the bus back to Buggerru.

After breakfast a transfer (about 30 minutes) will take you to the almost abandoned village of Ingurtosu from where you begin your hike towards the ruins of the old mine "Laveria Brassey". Sometime today you might feel close to Charles Darwin when he arrived at the Galapagos in the 1830s. The sand dunes of Piscinas are the most extensive desert area in Europe. For about 6km there's only you, the sea, the sand and the wind! At the end of the day a short transfer takes you to the agriturismo where you will spend the next two nights.

Today you walk back to the sea (Scivu beach) and then you take a hiking trail that leads you to a fantastic panoramic view at Capo Pecora promontory. Don't miss taking some unforgettable pictures of what is an unbeatable highlight of your trip! You will then continue to the small village of Portixeddu, notorious among surfers for its famous Portixeddu beach. A short transfer takes you back to your accommodation.

Transfer after breakfast (included) to Porto Paglia from where you begin today's hike. Even though it's a well-marked hiking trail, the coastline feels wild and untamed. You follow a path with fantastic views over the cliffs and sea. From Portoscuso you take ferry and bus to Sant'Antioco (tickets not included).
NOTE - As there are some steep sections, this hike is not recommended for those who are sensitive to vertigo.

Today you take the ferries to Carloforte where today's hike starts. You climb up a secondary asphalt road towards the northern side of the island, where at the end of May they start the so-called Mattanza, a system of nets that for about 45 days catches tuna fish. Back in Carloforte take a ferry to Calasetta and then private transfer to Sant'Antioco.

Today's private transfer takes you to Capo Sperone, then you walk back to S. Antioco. You pass the watchtower Torre Cannai and the beach of Maladroxia. The last part to town is on paved road.
