The pilgrimage route Camino de Santiago has been traveled on foot and horseback since medieval times - and perhaps the bicycle journey along this historically charged long-distance trail is the modern variant. This journey follows the classic route - Camino Francés - from the Gothic cathedral León to the destination Santiago de Compostela. The journey goes through a varied landscape with Castile's open plains and Galicia's vineyards.
The feeling of brotherhood permeates the experience as you meet other pilgrims from around the world - some on vacation, others on a spiritual journey. You stay overnight in genuine communities and avoid the hostels - it's hotels and luggage transport that apply.

Visit the impressive Gothic cathedral in León.
Discover Astorga's unique Roman history and magnificent cathedral.
Cycle through the charming village of Molinaseca with its picturesque bridge.
Enjoy the beautiful countryside of Villafranca del Bierzo and its vineyards.
End the journey with a visit to the magnificent cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
The cycling stages are of medium character on good and quiet roads, with varying length and some elevation differences. A more hilly stretch occurs around O Cebreiro. The last day offers two alternatives, so you can choose a shorter or longer finish.
You stay at charming hotels of 3-star standard or equivalent B&B, where breakfast is included every morning. After the day's cycling, pleasant atmosphere and lovely relaxation await in genuine environments that deepen the experience of the Pilgrimage Route.
