The fabulously beautiful Rhine Valley is tailor-made for those who enjoy hiking and wine. Explore more than 30 elevated castles and manor houses as you follow the Rheinsteig hiking trail along the eastern part of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Hike from beautiful Rüdesheim to Koblenz. In hilly terrain you walk through vineyards and peaceful woodland.
You pass deep ravines and are offered magnificent views in several places. Myths and legends are part of the region's heritage, such as the tale of Lorelei, the beautiful fairy who sat on the rock where you can now enjoy the view high above the Rhine River. Naturally, you have the opportunity to taste the region's excellent wines during this varied hiking week.

The hikes follow well-maintained trails and partly paved vineyard paths. The pace can be adapted to daily form - from enjoyable hiking to more challenging sections. The heights are not extreme but sometimes steep, which requires sure footing. Some stages are longer and more hilly.
Accommodation
You stay in comfortable hotels with 3-star standard or equivalent guesthouses. Every morning a hearty breakfast is served that energizes you for the day's hike. Packed lunches can usually be ordered, and dinner is available at nearby restaurants. If you wish separate beds, we will note your request.
