Picos de Europa! The undoubtedly most impressive mountain range in Spain. It rises from the coastal landscape as a natural border between the northern coast and the drier Castile.
This 8-day hiking trip offers the opportunity to discover a varied landscape in the mountain range's eastern and central massif. Here there is the possibility to choose between easier or more challenging daily hikes. If you feel like climbing up to the mountain hut at the foot of the famous Picu Urriellu, you have the opportunity to do so.

Check-in at a comfortable hotel in the center of the village. Try a glass of local cider on the terrace or visit the Romanesque church Santa Maria de Llas.
Level and standard
Medium to challenging hikes with clear variation between days. Some stages offer route choices that can be adapted according to daily form, especially around Sotres, and one day involves a longer, continuous descent back towards the valley. The pace feels rewarding and the environments magnificent.
Accommodation
Two comfortable, family-run hotels with spacious rooms where private bathroom and toilet provide extra comfort after the day's hike. Warm atmosphere and thoughtful service create a homely base. Breakfast is included every day as well as 4 dinners for a smooth and enjoyable trip.
