Fjords, mountains and serene grandeur await just around the corner. In Douglas Adams' comedy book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Earth is designed by aliens and Norway is the winner of an award. It's as good an explanation as any for our neighboring country's extraordinarily beautiful landscape. Of course, you can only experience its grandeur by hiking or cycling - just like the Norwegians themselves do.
