Mallorca's northwestern coast is surprisingly calm and fairytale beautiful. Here you hike between authentic villages in Serra de Tramuntana, adorned with citrus, almond and olive groves. The coastal cliffs are breathtakingly high and the small beaches enchanting. Afterwards, one gladly finds a glass of cold, freshly pressed juice from the local oranges. The Archduke's Path is one of the Mediterranean's most spectacular hiking trails and afterwards you enjoy the atmosphere in relaxed Puerto de Sóller, the artist colony Deia and picturesque Valdemossa. A journey that has everything from real hiking to lazy hours.

Arrival in Valldemossa and check-in at the hotel. Valldemossa is a small picturesque town built around a monastery known among other things for Frederic Chopin and George Sand living here during the winters. You can easily reach Valldemossa by local bus from Palma or by taxi from the airport.

The hikes are of moderate character, with some steep sections and noticeable elevation differences. The trails are mostly well-marked paths that offer varied terrain. Day 2 offers a longer alternative circular tour, and day 6 has a longer descent.
