The Cyclades are perhaps Greece's most famous island group, but on this trip you get the chance to experience the lesser-known treasures of Andros and Tinos. On Andros, an impressive network of hiking trails awaits, many beautifully stone-paved, leading you through lush valleys and to pristine beaches.
Chora, Andros' charming capital, attracts with its characteristic buildings, lively squares and picturesque alleys. Tinos, on the other hand, is known as Greece's Lourdes. Every year on August 15th, thousands of pilgrims gather in Tinos Chora to visit the sacred Panagia – a unique experience to witness.
This trip can also be combined with "Hiking Cyclades - Naxos & Santorini".

Arrival on your own to Athens airport. Transfer to Rafina port (included) and ferry to Andros (included). To catch the transfer and ferry you need to have a flight that arrives in Athens no later than 14:30. The ferry takes about 2 hours between Rafina and Andros. From the port on Andros you take the local bus to Chora.
Accommodation in Andros
Level and standard
The hikes are of moderate character on mostly well-maintained trails and classic kalderimi in hilly, sometimes mountainous terrain. One day offers a longer round trip that feels more challenging, and another offers a choice between shorter or longer distance.
Accommodation
Accommodation at guesthouses & hotels. All rooms have private bathrooms and breakfast is included every day. Comfortable, personal environments provide rest between stages and a pleasant start to the day before the hikes.
