The first cycling day of the trip goes from Avignon to the charming town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue – known as "the Venice of Provence". Then you continue through rural surroundings to the village of Venasque, designated as one of France's most beautiful.

Add an extra night in Venasque, one of France's most beautiful villages, and enjoy a bike ride through the surrounding landscape filled with vineyards, fruit orchards and small villages that have looked the same for centuries. You cycle along quiet roads with beautiful views. There are restaurants in both Mormoiron and Mazan, or you can bring a picnic and stop anywhere along the route.
