Day 1: Arrival in Strasbourg

Arrival in Strasbourg. Make yourself at home at the hotel and take time to explore the city.

Day 2: From Strasbourg - To Sélestat. 25 - 65 km

You leave Strasbourg along the Rhône-Rhine canal which leads you along its very beautiful cycle path into the heart of Ried. To begin with, the tour is flat along the Marne to Rhine canal. From Ried to Osthouse Sermersheim, Saint-Hippolyte or Sélestat you cycle on cycle paths. You can choose between different routes where you cycle 25, 55 or 65 kilometers.

Day 3: From Sélestat - To Colmar. 50 - 65 km

Breakfast

Today you cycle through the landscapes and villages of Alsace Ried which are rich in aquatic flora and fauna. You arrive in Colmar, the capital of wine in Alsace and "the city of art" via the cycle path along the Colmar canal. Today you cycle on flat terrain, mainly on cycle paths, a short part of the day on smaller roads. From Marckolsheim you take the canal route to Colmar. Choose between 50 - 65 km.

Day 4: From Colmar - To Guebwiller. 35 - 45 km

Breakfast

From Colmar you follow the Alsace wine route. The dreamy villages and many of Alsace's timber houses and magnificent medieval town centers among extensive vineyards are perfect for unwinding and enjoying. You cycle on flat terrain on cycle paths and smaller country roads.

Day 5: From Guebwiller - To Riquewihr. 40 - 50 km

Breakfast

At the foot of the Vosges lie the wine villages that are responsible for the good reputation of Alsace Grand Crus: Eguisheim, Turckheim, Kaysersberg and Riquewihr. You cycle mainly on flat terrain on cycle paths and smaller country roads. From Kientzheim to Riquewihr you have two tough but short climbs of about 1 km each.

Day 6: From Riquewihr - To Obernai. 35 - 50 km

Breakfast

Along the wine route you will discover the villages of Ribeauvillé, Bergheim as well as Andlau and its monastery before you continue to Barr and finally to today's final destination Obernai. Today's route is gently undulating and you travel along cycle paths and smaller country roads, you sometimes have short climbs.

Day 7: From Obernai - To Strasbourg. 40 - 55 km

Breakfast

Country roads and cycle paths take you to Rosheim and Avolsheim. From there you cycle along the shore of the Bruche canal and reach Europe's capital: Strasbourg.

You can choose to end the trip here, or extend your stay with an extra night in Strasbourg.
