Today you tackle the mountain ridges to the middle Rhine valley and get to enjoy a breathtakingly beautiful panoramic view over the Nahe estuary. Past the hunting lodge Niederwald you hike to Assmanshausen, known for its exquisite red wines and the fantastic half-timbered houses. Finally you arrive in Lorch where you will spend the night.

On trails and along mountain ridges with a fantastic panoramic view over the Rhine valley, the route leads into the historic maritime town of Kaub or via the mountain ridges to Dörscheid. The castle ruins Nollig, Gutenfels castle and as a highlight the impressive toll castle Pfalzgrafenstein, which lies directly on an island in the Rhine, transform today's tour into a true experience.

In the heart of the Rhine valley awaits with serpentine paths, fantastic views and legendary castles. The most famous rock on the Rhine, Loreley-Rock, is also part of your itinerary, as is the view over three castles towards castle Katz, castle Maus and castle Rheinfels. A crowning achievement of today's tour before you reach St. Goarshausen.

Today you walk along untouched trails, fantastic landscapes and past striking castles while crossing Filsener Lay, one of the region's most beautiful nature reserves. Liebenstein castle and Sterrenberg, the so-called "hostile brothers" accompany you on the way into the wine parish.

Along the way to Braubach you encounter castle Liebeneck, Dinkelhold Mills and the impressive castle "Marksburg". We strongly recommend that you take time to visit this completely preserved castle. The wine-growing village of Braubach welcomes you with its city wall and its many half-timbered buildings.

During the final stage, several highlights await again: castles, nature reserves, forest and the blooming Bienhorn valley. The tour offers long-distance views, fantastic nature as well as an adventurous section through the Ruppertsklamm gorge, a genuine highlight! You cross the Rhine via the impressive bridge "Pfaffendorfer Brücke", before finally concluding your hiking week at "Deutsches Eck" in Koblenz.
