In the afternoon you can take a pleasant walk from Poros town. You walk through the alleys along buildings in bright, clear colors up to an old windmill from where you have a wonderful view over the Galatas channel towards the high peaks of the Peloponnese peninsula. Continue along the mountain ridge to the church Ag. Anargyroi where you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view. Return down to Poros town and its cafés & restaurants.

Today's hike takes you first along the coast towards Kyani Akti, from where you walk up through forest and olive groves towards Poseidon's archaeological sanctuary, which is strategically located 200 m above the sea. The site was intended for the worship of Poseidon but there is evidence that it was also used during prehistoric times. You continue uphill until you reach the highest point of the day. Then you follow a zigzag path down to open woodland and further to the coast at Peria where your hotel is located.
You can also choose to do a slightly shorter hike of 5 km.

You start the day with a ferry to Hydra. The clear difference between Poros and Hydra you notice already when you approach the island. Where Poros is covered with forest, Hydra consists mostly of mountains and a winding coastline. The main town and harbor is one of the most beautiful in Greece. You can begin your stay on Hydra with a short, nice walk through the town and the sparsely populated interior.

On today's hike you cross the island from Hydra town to the western side, at Bisti Beach and the church Ag. Georgos. This side of the island has a rich, lush vegetation unlike the rest of the island. You begin your hike along the northern coast through the villages Kaminia, Vlychos & Plakes past Palamidas bay. From here you can return to Hydra town via another route or continue inland towards Episkopi. Then you continue towards the southwest and enjoy wonderful views. The hike ends at the picturesque Bisti bay. During high season you can rent sun loungers here. You return by water taxi to Hydra town (not included).

Today's circular hike takes you all the way up to the top of Mount Eros, 588 meters above sea level. A wide Kalderimi takes you from Hydra town up to the monastery Profitis Elias which is located 100 meters below the summit. A path takes you up to the summit where you can enjoy fantastic views over Hydra, the surrounding islands and the Peloponnese. On the return journey you follow another path that leads you via Episkopi all the way back to Hydra town.

Today you start with a water taxi to Ledeza bay (not included). From the bay you walk up towards Zourvas monastery, located in a barren landscape dominated by cliffs and stone. From here you can choose to go directly back to Hydra town via a path through cedar and oak forest where you pass several monasteries along the way. The long hike takes you further east to Zourvas lighthouse before you go back and follow the same path from Zourvas monastery back to Hydra town.

The trip ends after breakfast with ferry back to Piraeus (included). From Piraeus it is possible to pre-book a taxi transfer to Athens airport. If you want to book extra nights in Athens after the hike, that is also possible.
