The route continues through the Duke of Devonshire's estate and the beautiful Strid Woods, where the river creates a dramatic small ravine. Further ahead the landscape opens up again before you reach Barden Bridge and continue through the rolling countryside.

The hike takes you over Cam Fell, the journey's highest point, before you follow historic trails down into Dentdale. Along the way await open moors, dramatic views over the Yorkshire Dales and the impressive railway viaduct at Denthead. The day ends in the tranquil valley village of Cowgill, surrounded by nature's peace.
