Another long day awaits, but this time a somewhat easier and more scenic walk as you follow the rivers Caldbeck and Caldew all the way into Carlisle. Today you make your way through forest and past interesting farms and castles. As you approach Carlisle the surroundings transform into suburban landscape before you reach the official end of the Cumbria Way.
