Today you have the opportunity to hike if you want but also to explore Pitlochry. The hike takes you on a loop from Moulin to the northern part of town and out and up into the surrounding moorland, passing around Loch a' Choire and along Ben Vrackie's slopes but not to the summit. This hike is completely optional but gives you the opportunity to see fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. Later you can explore the town itself and some tips are to check out High Street, take a tour of Blair Atholl Distillery or if you're lucky book tickets in advance at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, which hosts year-round plays and concerts.
