17 km, +380 m/-425 m

Breakfast

Leave the honey-colored houses of Chipping Campden behind you and walk up towards Dovers Hill and Broadway Tower where you have beautiful views over the green, rolling landscape. Enjoy a cup of tea and scones at one of Broadway's tearooms before continuing towards little Stanton, a typical Cotswolds village where you can have dinner at the beautifully located local pub The Mount Inn.

In some cases depending on availability you may need to stay overnight in Broadway instead of Stanton – this means return transfer, e.g. transfer back to Broadway when you reach Stanton and then the following morning take a return taxi back to Stanton and continue along the route. Extra costs may apply.

Breakfast

Day 4: From Winchcombe - To Charlton Kings - 19 km, +450 m/-455 m

19 km, +450 m/-455 m

Breakfast

The last day's walk is scenic and historically interesting. The first nine kilometers take you to Cleeve Hill. Then you first encounter the magnificent Sudeley Castle before reaching an ancient Roman villa and Belas Knap, a massive neolithic burial chamber. As you continue towards Dowdeswell you have wonderful views over the landscape. From Dowdeswell it's a short distance to Charlton Kings.

Due to the lack of suitable accommodation in Charlton Kings you will likely stay overnight in Cheltenham instead. An included taxi transfer takes you to Cheltenham from London Inn on London Road not far from the end of the walk.

Day 5: Departure from Charlton Kings / Cheltenham

Breakfast

The trip ends after breakfast and you can make your way back independently by bus to nearby Cheltenham and then by train to London which takes about two hours. The trip also combines excellently with a few days in Bath which you can reach by train in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
