Today's hike is a pleasant panoramic walk on the Renon plateau through typical alpine flower meadows and pastures. You walk along Lake Kematen and the fascinating earth pyramids that came here with melting ice age glaciers. From the end of the hike, you return to Collalbo with the Renon train and enjoy beautiful views over the surrounding mountains.

Today's hike is longer but still pleasant. You walk from Collalbo to Castel Roncolo via fruit orchards, farmland and forest areas. The landscape is full of castles and farms. At the end of the hike, you take the local bus to Bolzano, a lively city with a mix of Italian and Austrian culture. The hike can be shortened to 16 km.

A morning transfer on your own by local bus takes you to Siusi. From here you take the cable car up to Compatsch and do a hike along the largest alpine plateau in Europe. The hike passes mountain huts and small villages and offers beautiful views over the rocky Dolomites. The hike takes you back to Compatsch from where you take the cable car and bus back to Bolzano.
