The day begins with a short transfer to the fishing village Es Grau just outside the S'Albufera nature park. Here you start the Camí de Cavalls which first takes you past a large freshwater lake. Past Cap Favaritx the landscape becomes steeper and rockier. The hike takes you to Port D'Addaia and from there it's a short transfer to the next overnight stay in Menorca's northernmost fishing village. Time 5.5-6 hours.

Today there's a taxi transfer to Cap de Cavalleria where you begin your hike along a rocky coastline, the island's most mountainous part. The terrain alternates between cliffs, meadows, forest and wetlands with rich birdlife. There's an opportunity to stop at a beach café before you reach Cala S'Alocs where you're met for transfer to your next accommodation. Time 5.5-6 hours.

You begin the hike at Platja Cala Pilar, through a flatter landscape with open agricultural countryside. Here the local cheese Queso de Mahón is produced on farms built in the 1600s and 1700s.

Today's route begins in Cala Morell and takes you to an area filled with ancient dwellings from the Talayotic period. Surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation - Rosemary, Helichrysum and Chamomile - you head towards a drier limestone plateau. Here it's desolate, no modern houses in sight, only strange pyramid-shaped remains from prehistoric times. The hike ends in Cales Piques where you take the bus to the beautiful harbor town of Ciutadella. Time 4.5-5 hours.

Short transfer to Son Xoriguer where you continue the hike along the coast. The landscape is mostly flat and you walk through forests with oak and wild olive trees. You pass beautiful coves like Platges de Son Saura or Cala en Turqueta. Further ahead the terrain becomes a bit rockier and you pass deep ravines, "barrancos", before reaching the coastal town of Cala Galdana. Possible excursion to Barranc d'Algendar, Menorca's most spectacular ravine, or if you want to relax by the pool or sea. Time 4.5 hours.

The week's final hike is a circular walk from Cala Galdana that leads through oak forests towards the Migjorn plateau, home to Hermann's tortoise. At Platjas de Binigaus you leave the Camí dels Cavalls trail and continue along the coast back to Cala Mitjani. Private transfer back to your hotel.
