7 Breakfasts included
Fly to Valletta and take the short route to the island's heart and its Arabic capital. After checking in to your accommodation, you have time to explore Rabat and Mdina, one of Europe's best-preserved walled cities. The honey-colored stone facades, the winding alleys, and the impressive fortress create a literally fairy-tale atmosphere, and the city has served as a backdrop for several films. Rabat, which continues outside the walls, is rich in both Roman and Christian remains, where St. Paul's catacombs are one of the city's main attractions.

Breakfast
After a short transfer you reach Hagar Qim, a UNESCO-protected temple complex built between 3600 and 3200 BC. The enormous stone blocks testify to advanced building techniques, and here is the largest megalith in Malta – 5.2 meters long and weighing 57 tons!
After the visit, the hike begins along the coast towards the high and vertical Dingli cliffs on the island's west coast. The path goes through agricultural landscape and vineyards before you reach Malta's highest point with extensive views over the sea. Return to Rabat by bus or on foot through the Buskett area.

Breakfast
The day begins with a transfer to L-Imgarr and a coastal walk towards Popeye Village, the filming location for the 1980s musical Popeye starring Robin Williams. The walk goes through Il-Majjistrals nature reserve and along the way there are opportunities for swimming at the lovely Ghajn beach or in Golden Bay.
After the walk, the journey continues with a transfer to the island's northern tip Cirkewwa and then by ferry to Gozo. Short transfer to accommodation in Gharb, a larger rural village that invites an evening stroll to study the detailed houses.
10 km, 260 m up, 360 m down
Breakfast
One of the trip's most exciting hikes starts in Gharb and goes via small country roads lined with figs and olives past the impressive Ta' Pinu basilica. Then you follow the coast towards Dwerja Bay with spectacular views over cliffs and sea. The bay looks like a round crater and is often adorned with the occasional sailboat that has dropped anchor. Perhaps strangest is the nearby Inland Sea, a small lake surrounded by boat sheds that connects to the sea through a natural tunnel. Here there is an opportunity to take a short boat trip to explore the caves. The day ends with sunset by the sea before a bus ride back to Gharb.
12.5 km, 500 m up/down
Breakfast
After transfer to the small seaside resort of Xlendi, one of the trip's most scenic hikes begins (perhaps after a morning dip in the inviting bay). The path follows Gozo's southwestern coast at height with lovely views. In Sannat you pass through the village before continuing on the panoramic trail with views towards Mdina fortress. At the small fjord Ix-Xini there is an opportunity for more swimming and lunch at the beach restaurant before the final stretch along the coast towards Mgarr, Gozo's small harbor town. Bus to Victoria, Gozo's lively capital, for overnight stay.
6.5 km, 280 m up/down
Breakfast
By bus you return to Xlendi and begin a steep climb up onto the cliff plateau, now in the other direction from yesterday. With the sun at your back you walk through rural environments where the fields stretch all the way to the cliff edge. Bird song and open views characterize the day.
The walk ends at Dwerja Bay with the opportunity to enjoy yet another magnificent sunset before bus back to Victoria.
3-6 km, 100-140 m up/down
Breakfast
Today is a day for relaxation and you have two optional walks to choose from:
From Marsalforn to Ramla Beach
From Victoria you take a local bus to the village of Marsalforn. Then follows a short walk along the coast from Marsalforn to the famous Ramla Beach with its red sand. You follow a coastal path with a beautiful mix of lush vegetation and bathing spots.
Ferry to Comino and circular walk on Comino
Experience the unique island of Comino, the small island between Malta and Gozo. A short bus ride takes you to the ferry harbor in Mgarr, where you board the ferry to Comino. After seeing the well-known and magically beautiful Blue Lagoon, you walk around the island to enjoy tranquility and magnificent views. Once back at the harbor, you board the ferry back to Gozo and return "home" to Victoria.
Breakfast
The trip ends after breakfast. You can return to Malta either by ferry from Mgarr to Cirkewwa or speedboat to Valletta. We recommend a couple of extra nights in this very beautiful city with its uniquely British Mediterranean style.
