 Transfer after breakfast to Stepantsminda and there you begin the day with a short but scenic walk to the impressive Gveleti waterfalls, which are nestled in a dramatic valley. The roar of the water and the fresh mountain air make this an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon, you can hike up to the charming St. Elias church, from where you get a fantastic view of the majestic Mount Kazbegi and the iconic Holy Trinity Church in the distance (Gergeti Trinity Church).

In the morning you will be picked up from your guesthouse and drive to the charming village of Juta, which is surrounded by beautiful nature. Here you start a day hike through the picturesque Juta valley, where you pass blooming meadows, babbling rivers and see grazing cows and horses along the way. The hike leads you to the spectacular Chaukhi massif, known for its seven pointed peaks that tower majestically. After a memorable day in nature, the driver takes you back to your guesthouse in Stepantsminda.

This day you begin a two-day hike to the Gergeti glacier. On the way you pass the beautifully situated Gergeti Trinity Church, which was built in the 14th century and is located at 2200 meters altitude. It's only 9 km, but you will climb 1300 meters during the day, so you get well-deserved rest at one of Georgia's most exclusive mountain facilities, Altihut, which is located at 3014 meters altitude at the foot of the Gergeti glacier in a magnificent environment. Your luggage is deposited in Stepantsminda and you overnight with just your backpack tonight.

In the early morning hours, if the sky is clear, you get the opportunity to witness a fantastic sunrise near the Gergeti glacier, which is located about 1.5 hours from Altihut. The magical light over the snow-covered peaks creates an unforgettable experience. After enjoying the sunrise, you eat a good breakfast before you begin your walk back along the same path to Stepantsminda, where your day continues with new adventures.

After a hearty breakfast you are driven to the remote and almost abandoned Truso valley, where you begin a hike through a fascinating valley near the border to South Ossetia. Surrounded by dramatic rock formations, you also get to see the colorful travertine formations in orange, white and red, which have been formed by mineral-rich water sources. During the hike you visit the beautiful, blue Abano lake and explore the historical ruins of Zakagori fortress. After a memorable day you are driven back to your guesthouse for rest.
