Day 1: Arrival to Fazana

Arrival in Fazana and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon you will get a briefing of the week's program and get to try out and adjust your bike.

Breakfast

You start with a leisurely cycle to Pula where you can get around the city's marble alleys and visit its beautiful amphitheater from 27 BC. After that you take the boat to Brijuni National Park, once Tito's private archipelago. Explore the Roman villas, the Byzantine villages, nature and beaches. Cycling distance depending on route choice.

Day 3: From Fazana - Vodnjan - To Fazana - 29/38 km, + 150/215 m / -160/220 m

Breakfast

Today you head inland to Vodnjan, Istria's ancient capital, where you will find an exciting mix of architecture - Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance. After lunch you cycle back along the coast to Fazana. On the way you pass the remains of Roman baths. Cycling distance depending on route choice.

Day 4: From Fazana - Bale - To Rovinj - 39 km, +250 m /-260 m

Breakfast

After breakfast you head north towards the charming coastal town of Rovinj. After a gentle uphill climb you reach the small town of Bale which was once built by the Romans to protect the salt ponds and roads that linked Pula and Porec.

Day 5: From Rovinj - To Motovun - 35/57 km, +515/795 m/-535/655 m

Breakfast

Head inland to the impressive wooded valley of the Lim fjord. You then continue the ride inland through gently rising terrain until you reach the final stretch with two short climbs that take you up to Motovun from where you can admire the wonderful view over vineyards and truffle-filled forests.

Day 6: From Motovun - To Porec - 37 km, +180 m/-445 m

Breakfast

A steep downhill takes you to Parenzana, a dismantled old railway that has been transformed into a gravel cycle path that slowly winds through the fields towards Porec, an old port town located on the small peninsula of San Nicholas.

Day 7: Cycling via Tar and Jama Baredine - 32 km, +260 m/- 260 m

Breakfast

You cycle along the coast towards the fertile plateau of Tar and pass Larun's olive groves, which are said to produce the best olive oil in Europe. On the way back towards Porec you cycle inland and can visit the giant limestone cave Jama Baredine before you are back at the hotel.
