Day 1: Arrival in Mont-Dol

Arrival on your own to Mont-Dol, a beautiful flower town nestled between granite cliffs in an otherwise flat landscape.

Day 2: Circular cycling via Mont-Saint-Michel - 69 km, +130 m/-130 m

Breakfast

Cycle through rolling countryside to charming Dol-de-Bretagne and onwards towards Pontorson. Along quiet roads you reach iconic Mont-Saint-Michel – a historic pilgrimage site with an impressive monastery rising from the sea.

The tour continues along "Duchess Anne's Dike" through open coastal landscapes towards Chapelle St. Anne, before you turn back inland towards the starting point.

Day 3: From Mont-Dol - To Saint-Malo - 44km, +150 m/-150 m

Breakfast

A wonderful cycle along Saint-Michel bay where you often have fantastic sea views along the way. You pass the lively fishing village of Cancale which is famous for its oysters. The oyster farms can be visited at low tide. Enjoy the good food at one of the many restaurants. The coast also has fine beaches, and on the other side of the peninsula after a steep climb you'll find a wonderful golden sandy beach.

Day 4: Circular cycling on Guernsey - 32km

Spend the day in historic Saint-Malo with its impressive city walls, charming harbors, lively alleys and inviting beaches. Or hop on a ferry to Guernsey and discover the island's many cycle paths – it's even possible to cycle around the entire island in one day.

Day 5: From Saint-Malo - To Dinan - 27km, +120 m/-115 m

Breakfast

A small ferry takes you from Saint-Malo to fashionable Dinard. From here you head straight south. You follow a disused railway track that takes you through a varied and peaceful landscape. After this Voie Verte the route takes you via green flower hills to the Breton interior and Taden castle. Continue to picturesque Port Dinan which is situated a little higher up. Here you have a wonderful view as well as a fine historic center. If you don't feel like cycling, you can also, in season, take the boat from Dinard to Port Dinan.

Day 6: Circular cycling via Canal d´Ille et Rance - 49km, +200 m/-215 m

Breakfast

Dinan has much to offer in galleries, restaurants and shops, you can easily spend a whole day here. In addition, you can take a bike tour in the green, hilly landscape south of Dinan. Here it's easy to believe you're in Cornwall in southern England. Strikingly similar are the massive, black granite houses, in summer often surrounded by beautiful flowers. You follow a quiet path along the Canal d'Ille et Rance and experience life along the canal. If you want, you can easily shorten the route.

Day 7: From Dinan - To Mont-Dol - 44km, +205 m/-215 m

Breakfast

You start gently on the path along the Rance. Through a hilly agricultural landscape you make your way to the cathedral city of Dol-de-Bretagne. Here you can admire the impressive Menhir du Champ-Dolent. Also visit the beautiful St Samson cathedral which is dedicated to one of the seven Breton saints. Stroll along Grand Rue des Stuarts past magnificent old houses from the 12th and 13th centuries. From here you don't have far left to Mont-Dol where your journey began.
