Your first cycling day takes you through the Lot Valley from Agen on beautiful country roads to the walled city of Villeneuve-sur-Lot. Here you have the opportunity to visit the city's Foie Gras museum. Many farms along the way also have tastings open for the local product. When you feel ready, you continue cycling to Penne d'Agenais which is said to be one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Start the day by cycling to the village of Monflanquin, also walled and classified as one of the most beautiful in France. Then continue through lush forest areas until you reach the fort of Gavaudun which is located on the border between the regions of Perigord and the Lot Valley. The last part of today's adventure takes you through the Perigord landscape with beautiful walnut trees, oak trees and stone walls in various earth colors. The day ends in the beautiful village of Monpazier where you will spend the night.

Today you will cycle on the "Route des Bastides" from Monpazier. During the day you will get to explore the beautiful English towns from the 13th century. Take time to admire the Caduoin monastery, a Gothic masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage site. You then continue cycling until you reach the most famous area in Dordogne, namely Black Périgord. The area is known for its castles, prehistoric sites, medieval villages and the beautiful landscape.

Enjoy a wonderful cycling day in Black Périgord and discover the most beautiful castles in the valley - Les Milandes, Castelnaud and Beynac. Cycle along the Dordogne river and visit several more of France's most beautiful medieval villages. Admire Roque Gageac before continuing towards Sarlat, the gastronomic capital of the region. Here you can enjoy good delicacies such as foie gras, truffle and duck. The cycling ends in Sarlat which is one of the jewels of the area, known for its art and history. The afternoon can be spent exploring all the narrow streets and beautiful buildings, many of which are listed as historical monuments in the world.
